Beautiful Day!

It is a beautiful day today and I'm about to get out of those house to enjoy it!  It has been a little over a week since I posted but, do have several in draft that I will work on and publish tonight.  Until then I'll be outside enjoying the warm sunshine with my boys! 

Burning up the Road in My Little Red Jeep Liberty!

I think I spent most of my day zoom zoom zooming all over the place in my red Jeep Liberty so if you saw a red blur on the roads it was probably me!  Between taking the kids to school, dropping off a suit to the dry cleaner, doctor visit for me, picking kids up 2 hours early for early release I haven't had time to get work here at the house complete.  Getting ready to get back in the jeep with a teenage boy and a 9 year old to drive me insane in the grocery store!  Usually my teenager chooses to stay home if I'm grocery shopping but, tonight I think he wants to sneak a few things in my grocery cart.  Well time to drive again and be driven crrrrrrrrazy!  Off to the grocery store I gooo!

Our Warm Groundhogs Day On A Windy Windsday Has Ended

Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow but, heard on WRAL our Groundhottie Sir Walter Raleigh saw a glimpse of his.  I think I'll go with Punxsuwhachamacallit on this one!  I take back what I said in my previous post about him being dead.  Philadelphia is already receiving letters from PETA thinking that the poor little groundhog is being traumatized from all the crowds and the noise.  Seriously?????

On a more serious note, I am happy to have spent some quality time with my son Caleb today taking him some lunch and then signing him out a little early before picking up my other son Justin.  He took advantage of this going outside to ride his electric scooter.  It was a beautiful warm day but, very Windy making it a challenge to walk a out of control chiweenie.  My chiweenie Tink is usually well-behaved on her leash but, with all the wind blowing stuff all around she went crazy trying to chase everything down!  Now I'm off to bed!

Punxsutawney Phil Didn't See His Shadow Because He Was Instantly Frozen to Death!

Poor Punxsutawney Phil tweeted and news reports spread that he didn't see his shadow.  Well, the reports were right but, only because as soon as he popped out his little head he was instantly frozen!  My heart goes out to all who knew and loved him.  In case your wondering who the groundhog was they were showing on TV it was revealed by some to be his twin brother Bill.  No worries here in warm and sunny NC!  Our own groundhottie Sir Walter Raleigh predicted an early spring!  Those dog days of summer are just around the corner ready.  Time for coconut oil, tank tops and flip flops for some fun in the sun on one of the beautiful beaches along the South Carolina and North Carolina coast.  Life's a beach...

What If....

What if someone told you something about somebody and that somebody told you "Don't believe them, they're crazy!" and because others said "They're Crazy!" you chose not to believe them only to find out what they told you about that somebody was true.  Wouldn't that be just crazy?

Somewhere between the insane and the sane lies the truth...

Bye Bye 55" Toshiba Theater-Wide Projection T.V.!

We sold out 55" Toshiba T.V. along with the huge console surrounding it.  We had it for about 6 years and it was just so huge that it was time to get rid of it to get something more suitable for our living room.  The people that bought it seemed very happy showing up with a big U-Haul truck to pick it up with the surrounding console and ready to play their Wii games!  Now that we don't have a t.v. downstairs I guess that means we will be spending some time the rest of the weekend shopping for another one and a console!  We let Caleb have our old dvd player and will be buying a blue ray player too.  Isn't all the spending supposed to be over after Christmas?  I'll answer my own question.  YES!  We seriously need to start saving our money!!!

Husband Mart

A store that sells husbands has just opened in Ottawa where a woman may go to choose a husband from among many men. The store is comprised of 6 floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights.

There is, however, a catch. As you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs. The woman reads the sign and says to herself, "Well, that's better than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what's further up?"

So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men have jobs and love kids.

The woman remarks to herself, "That's great, but I wonder what's further up?" And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking. "Hmmm, better" she says "But I wonder what's upstairs?"

The fourth floor sign reads: Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework. "Wow!" exclaims the woman, "very tempting. BUT, there must be more further up!" And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads: Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak. "Oh, mercy me! But just think... what must be awaiting me further on?"

So up to the sixth floor she goes.

The sixth floor sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 3,456,789,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.
