What If....

What if someone told you something about somebody and that somebody told you "Don't believe them, they're crazy!" and because others said "They're Crazy!" you chose not to believe them only to find out what they told you about that somebody was true.  Wouldn't that be just crazy?

Somewhere between the insane and the sane lies the truth...

Bye Bye 55" Toshiba Theater-Wide Projection T.V.!

We sold out 55" Toshiba T.V. along with the huge console surrounding it.  We had it for about 6 years and it was just so huge that it was time to get rid of it to get something more suitable for our living room.  The people that bought it seemed very happy showing up with a big U-Haul truck to pick it up with the surrounding console and ready to play their Wii games!  Now that we don't have a t.v. downstairs I guess that means we will be spending some time the rest of the weekend shopping for another one and a console!  We let Caleb have our old dvd player and will be buying a blue ray player too.  Isn't all the spending supposed to be over after Christmas?  I'll answer my own question.  YES!  We seriously need to start saving our money!!!

Husband Mart

A store that sells husbands has just opened in Ottawa where a woman may go to choose a husband from among many men. The store is comprised of 6 floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights.

There is, however, a catch. As you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs. The woman reads the sign and says to herself, "Well, that's better than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what's further up?"

So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men have jobs and love kids.

The woman remarks to herself, "That's great, but I wonder what's further up?" And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking. "Hmmm, better" she says "But I wonder what's upstairs?"

The fourth floor sign reads: Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework. "Wow!" exclaims the woman, "very tempting. BUT, there must be more further up!" And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads: Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak. "Oh, mercy me! But just think... what must be awaiting me further on?"

So up to the sixth floor she goes.

The sixth floor sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 3,456,789,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

Thank you for shopping Husband Mart and have a nice day.

It's a Brand New Day - Part 2

Just as soon as I submitted my last post, I suddenly remembered my younger son, Caleb had to be at school an hour early today for chorus rehearsal!  Suddenly panic set in as I rushed him out of bed to eat and get dressed!  I am amazed at how fast I cleaned myself up to rush out the door!  He was a few minutes late but, we made it!  So much for a brand new day and making the most of it!  Well, I won't let it get me down and stress over it.  Since I'm recovering from shingles that started on my eyelid following along the trigeminal nerve going up over my eyebrow toward my hairline that had my eyelid really swollen for a couple of days that was probably brought on by stress, I can't let this get to me.  I am going to think positive and still make the most of this day, as it is still early!  I am relaxing with a big Cup-A-Joe before heading back out and on the road again to go to my sister's.  Hopefully as I journey through the rest of this day, there will not be any more bumps in the road!  I may take the time to fix up some tuna salad for the two of us to have for lunch as we catch up on stuff.

It's a Brand New Day

Good morning!  It's time to get this day started and I plan to make the most of it!  My oldest son, Justin just left with my husband Jimmy for school and it is almost time to get my younger son, Caleb up.  After I drop Caleb off at school I will be heading to my sister's to drop off some things and have a quick visit.

I'm Back!

I haven't been here to post for soooo long!  I have been very busy during the last few months and abandoned my blog for a while.  I think the last few months of 2010, especially Halloween - Christmas was just a blur it went by so fast!  I will post regularly on what I have planned for 2011, about our mini-home makeover with having new floors installed, kitchen remodel, etc.  I am also organizing my home & life to prepare for my returning back to school.  All is going well so far with that I am happy to say!  I am also expanding on my love for photography learning all I can about using my Nikon D40 for more than just to point and shoot.  Now time to get my son ready for school and get this day started!
